Representative Don Coram (R)
Colorado State Representative, 58th District
I was born and raised in Montrose County on a family farm/ranch operation. My parents ran Stockyards in Montrose and Grand Junction. Dianna, a third generation Delta County girl and I will celebrate our 44th Anniversary in October, 2010. We have one son, Dee who is our business partner. We are proud to have strong roots and a history throughout the 58th District.
Ranching, mining, environmental reclamation, and Main Street business are my background. Strong community participation has always been very important in our lives. Experience, conservative, and common sense values have gone out of style. I will “say what I mean, and mean what I say.”
I have served as Director and Treasurer of School District RE -1J, also Treasurer and President of the Delta-Montrose Vocational Center. I am currently a Director of Western Small Miners Association. Prior to my candidacy I served as 2nd Vice-Chairman of the Montrose County Central Committee and was selected by CRC Chairman Dick Wadhams to serve on the Colorado Republican Committee Executive Committee.
